🎙️New Episode: 16 Labor Tips You Need To Hear From A Labor Nurse

Hey Reader,

After over a decade of helping women during the birth of their babies as a labor and delivery nurse, I've learned a lot...

Today I looked back at some of the very first pieces of advice that I shared with moms online in the very early days of sharing birth education online...and do you know what I found?

I found that the advice I gave then—as a brand new birth educator who'd only been a nurse for a handful of years—is still relevant today.

...is the same advice I would give today.

It hasn't changed.

And I find that so comforting.

Birth doesn't change. Labor is the same today as it was when your grandmother was having her babies.

🙌🏼 Thank God.

We don't have to re-create the wheel when figuring out how to have a beautiful, memorable birth.

But we are fortunate enough to live in a time when information and a plethora of resources are literally at our fingertips. We are so lucky that we get to take all of the things we've learned and share them worldwide so that women all over the globe can learn from our experiences, our mistakes, and our triumphs.

When I first started my blog back in 2018 as a hobby with no intention of ever doing anything with it, I got responses from people opening my weekly email (kind of like you're doing right now) that were so special to me that I was inspired to keep going. Keep giving advice. Keep making content that would help women feel empowered in their journey.

And today, years later, I get to post a new podcast episode inspired by those first words of wisdom I gave way back then that still ring true today. Click here to listen to the episode.

I hope this helps.

Xo,

Heather
