Free Birth & Baby Checklists as a HUGE thank you

Hey friend,

I got so many beautiful responses to my letter yesterday - thank you for all the love and support. ❤️

You know, getting responses really lit me up and got me feeling even more motivated to provide you the content you need. The thing about me is feedback is fuel. Sometimes it feels like I'm talking into a void and no one is actually listening...

...but I know for a fact that this is a lie.

Ever since the very beginning of my blogging journey, I've always gotten emails and DMs of thankfulness and appreciation for the information that I put out there...and it's never really stopped.

Even now, after a bit of a hiatuas, I will get the occasional DM that says:

"Heather! Thank you so much for your account! I subscribed to your emails and took your course and I just want to thank you...."

And this just might be the ONE THING that keeps me going.

It's so rewarding to hear your stories about how I impacted your birth or your pregnancy journey.

One time, towards the beginning of my "break" in the beginning of this year, I took my daughter to the Chiropractor, where I was met with a mom and her baby in the waiting room.

I could tell that she was looking at me kinda funny but I just assumed she was wondering how long it had been since I'd brushed my hair...

...I was going through it, ok?

Anyway, that's not why she was looking my way. She asked:

"Are you...? Do you...? I think I recognize you"

I smiled and said "Oh, maybe. I do have an Instagram."

It confirmed it for her that I was who she thought I was, and she immediately smiled at me and started praising me for how I helped her with her second pregnancy...the baby who was in her arms now.

She told me, "Keep doing what you're doing because you're really helping moms".

I could have cried.

Because she didn't know it, but I was about to take a few months off.

But I realized something… sometimes I forget the most important part!

Even when things are hard or when things slow down...that ONE mom that I sought out to help when I started this whole thing? She's still there. And that is the most exciting thing in the world.

So anyway, I have something special for you.

...actually two things.

First, I am super excited about something I'm revealing TOMORROW. It's going to be huge.

Hey friend, It’s been a while since we’ve talked. I mean really talked. Like heart-to-heart, me to you, real talk that isn't me teaching you something about birth. I know it hasn't necessarily been a while since you received an email from me, but yet, it has been a while since you’ve received an email from me. You know what I mean? You see, I haven’t really shown up with my own voice for what feels like an eternity. Today I am going to share a story with you that is raw and honest. My hope is...

Hey there, Mama, Happy New Year, Reader! A new year can feel like a new, fresh start and an opportunity to become our best self... But if you have a new baby, it's just not always so easy. Let’s be real: some days, you feel like a superhero, and other days… your baby’s cries feel like kryptonite. We’ve all been there. It’s those moments when nothing seems to work—when you’ve tried rocking, feeding, singing, and even that silly dance you swore would never see the light of day (you know the...

Hey Reader, After over a decade of helping women during the birth of their babies as a labor and delivery nurse, I've learned a lot... Today I looked back at some of the very first pieces of advice that I shared with moms online in the very early days of sharing birth education online...and do you know what I found? I found that the advice I gave then—as a brand new birth educator who'd only been a nurse for a handful of years—is still relevant today. ...is the same advice I would give today....
